Welcome to the magical world of Roald Dahl's Matilda, the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination. Her parents think she's a nuisance and she thinks, quite rightly, they are only interested in watching telly. When they are not glued to the box, her mum spends all her time practising ballroom dancing, while her dad gloats about his latest dodgy business deal. Life's not much better at school, where the monstrous headmistress Miss Trunchbull terrifies students and teachers alike. Then one day Matilda discovers she has a very special power and decides it's time the grown ups were taught a lesson. We have 10 tickets for the performance on Tuesday 18th January 2011, available at £29.00 each, which is a discount of £5 per ticket - book now!
CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE & FASHION SHOW
The summer may still be in full swing, but we are already turning our attention to Christmas shopping in what promises to be both a unique shopping experience and an opportunity to raise money for charity.
We’re delighted to tell you that WILS has chosen the Carers Support Service as our charity for the night and will be donating some of the proceeds to help them continue their invaluable service and support to carers in Stratford, Warwick and Leamington.
WILS is bringing together some exciting entrepreneurs and boutique retailers to offer you a chance to buy some unusual and creative gifts – from handmade jewellery and luxurious handbags to exotic teas and mouth-watering Christmas cakes. If that wasn't enough we also have an exclusive fashion show put on by Danish fashion designers, Greenhouse.
We want you to have a fabulous evening and to start it off WILS members will be able to attend for free but we would like you to invite all of your friends and family. Tickets are £5 and will include a glass of wine or soft drink and entry into our prize draw. For tickets please email stratfordwilite@hotmail.com.
